# How is the best available network selected?

## By supporting numerous network providers worldwide, the wherever SIM enables optimal network coverage. This allows the end device to select the best available network.

The M2M SIM cards from wherever SIM do not have a preferred network provider. We work with various providers via roaming agreements. This means that this one SIM card can dial into a wide variety of networks worldwide. As a rule, several networks are available simultaneously at different locations of a terminal. The selection of the network for dial-up is made by the end device. Depending on the settings, this can be the first network found or the network with the strongest frequency, among others. Some devices are configured to select only a specified network. To exploit the full potential of your wherever SIM, it is best to configure the terminal device so that it automatically dials into an available network.
