The end customer ID can be set freely and is still displayed in the portal billing overview. This helps to evaluate the SIM card usage per user or customer.
You have the option in the portal to set an end customer ID to add further information to the SIM card. The end customer ID can be freely assigned and can contain letters and numbers. For example, you can store the name of your customer or another user. This allows an evaluation of the usage volume per month for the respective customer in the portal billing overview.
To set the end customer ID, click on the ICCID of the corresponding SIM card in the device overview:
In the view that now follows, click on End Cunsumer and Edit:
Another window opens in which you can enter the End Consumer ID and confirm it with "OK".
The advantage of the End Consumer ID is that it is displayed in the usage overview, enabling you to evaluate the usage data for individual SIM cards or for groups of SIM cards.
Under Billing (1), Usages (2), you can then view the End Consumer ID (3) with the corresponding usage data.
For example, you can assign the End Consumer ID "Customer A" to various SIM cards and "Customer B" to another group of SIM cards. Since the End Consumer ID is also displayed in the usage overview, it is now possible to determine the consumption per "Customer A" and "Customer B". Furthermore, it is possible to download the usage overview via the "Actions" button.
